Saint Jerome, pray for us! Husbands, golf balls and windows are not a good mix, so St. Jerome - see lower left corner of window - has been watching over us for the last two months from one of Caddie's narrations used to cover the hole. But, no more! As I tap out these words I can hear the workmen removing the sashing, carefully lifting out the battered window, and installing a new window. Not only does it lack a gaping maw, but it opens and closes too! Hurray!
Notre moulin, like its owners, is starting to show the passing of time with creaky knees and floors, graying hair and paint. Sports injuries only add to the problem. We re-did the kitchen and baths in our 40 yo log home about 3 years ago. It was quite an "adventure" but I'm so happy we did it!
